Typical GPTN Outbound Long Distance Savings
The lease of a Private Network product allows business customers substantial savings in long distance calling with a lease payment of 50% less than the average of three months' long distance bills. For example, if a customer's current long distance charges totaled $2,000 per month, the customer's savings would be $12,000 in the first year ($1,000 per month). Further, with a fixed monthly lease payment, customers may utilize up to 200% of the current voice capacity on outbound long distance and 110% on inbound toll free during the lease at no additional cost. A customer with current long distance charges of $50,000 could save $300,000 per year ($25,000 per month) and experience an even higher level of savings if their utilization increased, because their monthly lease charges would remain unchanged. The customer can also realize additional cost savings as the result of the reduction in accounting costs associated with the monthly reconciliation of long distance bills.

Innovative’s Private Network Product Suite is different from any long distance product or alternative in the market today. Innovative's Voice over Packetization Technology (VOPT) uses packet switching instead of traditional circuit switching when routing calls. With circuit switching, one call ties up an entire circuit during the length of the call. In contrast, the Private Network can efficiently and seamlessly digitize hundreds of calls into packets that are reassembled at the other end of the call without the use of the public Internet, a process sometimes referred to as IP telephony. The Private Network utilizes standardized and readily available telecommunications equipment programmed with ICT's proprietary software, which is currently in its ninth release and has been in continual development since 1989. The Private Network Software is fully upgradeable and modified remotely without affecting the ability to process calls. The unique self-correcting module constantly monitors key parameters of both internal and external conditions.
Utilizing a Private Network product is transparent to ICT customers and most businesses can continue to use their existing equipment. The Private Network is placed between the customer and the Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), permitting the customer to communicate with the called party as though it were a local call. The connectivity between cities on the Private Network is composed of private point-to-point interconnects, primarily fiber optic, contracted by ICT from major carriers.
